Classes are both ongoing and on a drop-in basis. You do not have to pre-register.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to your first class to complete a New Student Form.
Introductory Series
For those new to yoga and/or the Iyengar method. Learn the basics of alignment, muscle actions and connections between the mind and the body as we learn the fundamental poses. We encourage students with no experience in Iyengar Yoga to take an Introductory Class or Introductory Series, which lays the foundation for your practice and prepares you for progression to Level 1.
Classes meet once per week for a period of four or five weeks.
Gentle
New or continuing students welcome for this slower paced, yet invigorating class. Safe for those facing physical challenges or healing injuries. Improve flexibility, circulation, balance and confidence. This class compliments Inroductory and Level 1 classes. More >
Level 1
The basis of the method is taught in standing poses, Salamba Sarvangasana (shoulder stand) and other fundamental postures. (Completing the Introductory Series is suggested to attend Level 1 classes)
All Level
For those with previous Iyengar yoga experience, we offer expanded study of the poses. Head balance, shoulder stand variations, handstand, and backbends are taught.
Level 3
For students with substantial Iyengar Yoga training who are strong in standing postures, can do Sirsasana with confidence, and can push up into Urdhva Dhanurasana. Sirsasana variations, intermediate postures, and seated pranayama are taught. Independent practice should be well established. Class attendance is only with permission of teacher.
Pranayama
Introduction to the practice of breath awareness and modification. Breathing techniques to quiet the mind.
Restorative
Rejuvenating and supported poses that restore the nervous system and dismantle chronic tension. Six months experience required.
Meditation
Meditation is a powerful practice that leads to physical and mental transformation. We will be exploring a simple step-by-step guide to the practice of meditation and how to make it a part of your everyday routine.

Teacher Training
